1st Stage: Regional Park of Porto Conte - Capo Caccia
To visit the marine conservation area of Capo Caccia - Isola Piana, one must first arrive at the town of Alghero and then follow the indications for “Oasi Naturalistic”.
The fascinating craggy, limestone rock faces, embedded with grottos, lapped by the translucent waters is the main area of this protected area of Porto Conte.
On the Eastern side of the sturdy headland of Capo Caccia is to be found the “Grotta Verde” covered in musk and lichen, whilst under the jagged rocks is an opening into the “Grotta di Nettuni”, that can be reached by land going down the steps of “Escala del Cabirol”.

2nd Stage: National Park of Asinara
The Island of Asinara can be reached from Porto Nuovo in Stintino and from Porto Torres, where there can be found small information offices that also issue tickets. Thanks to the organised visits of the Park authority and the specialised private companies that offer, sea, trekking, mountain biking and land rover excursions, the National Park of Asinara greets its visitors with uncontaminated beauty.
There is the possibility to follow different routes, from the coastal line to the internal areas. The large choice on offer is a naturists dream, not only for the appeal of the wild coastline but also for the richness of the large numbers of regional birds present, which makes the Island an ecological heaven. Of the mammals present, the white donkey, unique to the Island, that adds to the Islands attraction.
